Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting Your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how We collect, use, store, share and protect the information collected through https://the360companies.com (the “Website”).

In this Privacy Policy, “We”, “Us”, and “Our” refer to The 360 Companies. For more information about Us, see “Our Details” at the end of this Policy.

Please be advised that the practices described in this Privacy Policy apply only to information gathered online through the Website and through Our text messaging program. PLEASE READ THIS PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY because it affects Your rights under the law. By using the Website, You acknowledge that You have read this Privacy Policy. If You do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Website.

2. Personal Data

“Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or one or more factors specific to that person’s identity.

As a general matter, You can browse the Website without submitting Your Personal Data to Us. However, there are a number of circumstances in which You may supply Us with Your Personal Data.

2.1 Data We Collect

Depending on how You use the Website, We collect the following Personal Data from You:

  • Company name;
  • Whether You are an employer, a candidate or other;
  • The content of messages You send Us;
  • Your résumé and any information it contains;
  • For Verification of Employment (VOE) requests: the candidate’s full name and the documents You upload, such as the candidate’s signed VOE authorization form and the VOE form You would like completed;
  • Your text messaging consent choices;
  • Billing and transaction details when You pay a VOE processing fee.

2.2 How We Collect Data

The following are the most common ways in which You give Us Your Personal Data:

Please do NOT supply any other person’s Personal Data to Us unless We prompt You to do so (for example, a candidate’s name and signed authorization for a VOE request).

3. Text Messaging (SMS)

If You check a consent box on Our contact form, You agree to receive text messages from The 360 Companies for marketing purposes, customer care purposes, or both, depending on the boxes You select. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or of using Our services.

  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any of Our text messages. Reply HELP for help.
  • Text messaging is also governed by Our Terms of Service: https://the360companies.com/terms-of-service/.

6. Data Security

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the information submitted to Us, both during transmission and once We receive it. We maintain appropriate administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect Personal Data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, and misuse. This includes, for example, firewalls, password protection and other access and authentication controls.

We use HTTPS

HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure) is an internet communication protocol that protects the integrity and confidentiality of data between Your device and the360companies.com. The use of HTTPS makes sure Your communication with Us is:

  • Encrypted — the data You exchange with Us is protected from eavesdroppers.
  • Integral — Your data cannot be modified or corrupted during transfer.
  • Authenticated — You are always communicating with Our servers.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the security of any information You transmit to Us, and You do so at Your own risk. If You believe Your Personal Data has been compromised, please contact Us.

17. No Personal Data From Children

The Website is not directed to children under the age of 13 in the USA or 16 in the European Union, and We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from them. 18. Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small file containing an identifier (a string of letters and numbers) that is sent by a web server to a web browser and stored by the browser. The identifier is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server.

Cookies may be either “persistent” cookies or “session” cookies: a persistent cookie is stored by a web browser and remains valid until its set expiry date, unless deleted by the user before then; a session cookie expires at the end of the user session, when the web browser is closed.

Cookies do not typically contain information that personally identifies a user, but Personal Data that We store about You may be linked to information stored in and obtained from cookies.

When You first visit the Website, a cookie banner asks whether You allow cookies. Only Strictly Necessary cookies are used until You make a choice. Performance & Analytics cookies are set only if You allow them.

18.1 Cookies We Use

We use two categories of cookies, matching the choices in Our Cookie Settings:

Strictly Necessary (always on). These cookies are needed for the Website to function and cannot be switched off. They are set in response to actions You take, such as setting Your privacy preferences, submitting a form, or paying a VOE processing fee. You can block them in Your browser, but parts of the Website may then not work.

Performance & Analytics (off until You allow them). These cookies help Us understand how visitors use the Website — which pages are visited most, how visitors arrive, and how they interact with the Website — so We can improve it. They are only set if You allow them.

18.2 Purpose of Using Cookies

Cookie Consent – We use cookies to store Your preferences regarding the use of cookies.

Security – We use cookies to help protect Our forms and the Website from spam and abuse.

Transactions – We use cookies to keep track of Your VOE payment during checkout.

Analysis – With Your permission, We use cookies to help Us analyze the use and performance of the Website.

18.3 Cookies Used by Our Service Providers

Our service providers use cookies, and those cookies may be stored on Your device when You visit the Website.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to analyze the use of the Website. Google Analytics gathers information about Website use by means of cookies, only after You allow Performance & Analytics cookies. We use Google Consent Mode, so no Google Analytics cookies are set before You consent. Google’s privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Microsoft Clarity. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with the Website through heatmaps and session replays. Clarity captures usage data such as mouse movements, clicks and scrolling. Clarity is used only after You allow Performance & Analytics cookies. For more information, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement at https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.

HubSpot. We use HubSpot to understand visits to the Website and to manage communications with clients and candidates. HubSpot’s privacy policy is available at https://legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.

Google reCAPTCHA. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to protect against spam and abuse. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

18.4 Managing Cookies

Cookie Settings: You can change or withdraw Your consent at any time by clicking Cookie Settings — this reopens the cookie preferences panel.

You can also block or delete cookies through Your browser settings. Different browsers provide different methods; see Your browser’s help pages or https://www.allaboutcookies.org.
